The Circalgae project team participated in AlgaEurope, one of Europe’s leading conferences on algae research, innovation, and industrial applications. The team presented the project’s latest developments in valorising algal side-streams for sustainable food, feed, and cosmetic value chains, while gaining valuable insights into market trends, technological innovations, and cross-sector collaboration opportunities. The event strengthened Circalgae’s engagement with the European algae community and reinforced its commitment to circular, sustainable, and high-value algae solutions.

The first edition of the Algae Fair took place in Rennes on 23–24 November 2025, marking a major milestone for the French and European algae sector. As part of the CIRCALGAE project, we were proud to participate and showcase three years of innovation in algae-based valorisation.

From October 16 to 17, 2025, the 2nd EU Algae Awareness Summit gathered policymakers, researchers, and industry experts in Berlin to discuss one crucial question: how can Europe move from potential to policy to unlock its algae future? CIRCALGAE was proud to take part in the event, sharing insights and tangible results from its ongoing work to boost algae innovation across Europe.
