TAESAG Highlights Spirulina by-product research at Algae4IBD
As part of the Circalgae project, TAESAG recently showcased their innovative research at the Algae for Health in Food and Pharma Innovation & Industry Summit (Algae4IBD). The team presented their study on the effects of a Spirulina by-product on post-weaning pigs, offering new insights into its potential applications in animal nutrition and health.
The research examined multiple aspects, including growth performance, haematology, intestinal histology, mRNA expression, and microbiome profiles, providing a comprehensive understanding of how this Spirulina-derived resource can support animal well-being and development.
This presentation highlights not only TAESAG’s commitment to sustainable and science-driven solutions but also the collaborative spirit of the Circalgae project in advancing circular bioeconomy approaches.
