6th General CIRCALGAE Assembly at Ghent
The 31st of march and First of April took place the 6th General Assembly in Ghent. The partners were reunited at the Bio Based Pilot Plant, partner of the project, to check the advancement of every working packages, share ideas and discuss the next important steps.
The goal of CIRCALGAE project is to valorize algae subproducts into the feed, food and cosmetic sectors. Consequently, it was also the occasion to discover the different prototypes, a culinary and sensorial travel where we tried tasty snacks, granola, infusion, hand creams and even algae sausages.
After all this delicious and nutritious algae food, it was time to explore Ghent city, on a canal tour, emblematic activity, we discovered the history of the city and the important place of the canal in it.
The day ended around a good meal, not algae based this time.
Being based at our partner, the BBPP, we took the opportunity to visit the facilities and see the fermenters and others materials.
